Each year, the Nasher Sculpture Center’s education programs – workshops, tours, school partnerships, and more – impact thousands of children, students, and families. And each year, The Great Create raises funds to keep these much-needed programs vibrant and accessible.
Here’s how your support of The Great Create makes a difference:
Tours
Almost 12,000 students tour the Nasher each year at no cost, and to date, more than 1,000 students have received transportation scholarships.
HopeKids at the Nasher
HopeKids Art Experience Days provide museum tours and interactive art activities for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
GROW at the Nasher
In collaboration with teachers and administrators at Rosemont Elementary in Oak Cliff, GROW brings a new group of second-grade students to the Nasher each year, with visits continuing over the course of five years.
Sensory-Friendly Family Events
Through Sensory-Friendly Days, visitors with sensory processing challenges are able to experience the Nasher in a safe and quiet environment.
Education Workshops
Free interactive workshops introduce students and teachers to the methods and materials used by modern and contemporary sculptors.
Nasher Summer Institute for Teens
This intensive program designed for students interested in pursuing careers in museums and the visual arts includes behind-the-scenes museum experiences, sessions with art-world professionals, and hands-on studio projects.
