PILOBOLUS IN THE GARDEN is a very special TITAS-commissioned site-specific project created for, and in, the stunning Nasher Sculpture Garden. First created as our city was just beginning to gather again after the lockdown, this magical work involves the famed PILOBOLUS dancers performing with Booker T. Washington HSPVA’s amazing student dancers moving throughout the entire Nasher garden landscape.
The dancers, and audience, move quietly through the sculpture garden in an incredible outdoor experience.
A collaboration between PILOBOLUS, TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND, Nasher Sculpture Center, the AT&T Performing Arts Center, Dallas Arts District and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, this beautiful project is a shining example of successful cultural collaboration. It was so successful in 2021, it is back for one special week of presentations.
