Nasher Prize 2020-21 Award Gala

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Michael Rakowitz - the fifth Nasher Prize Laureate - will be celebrated at the annual black-tie award gala at the Nasher Sculpture Center.

The Nasher Prize is an award for living artists who have profoundly impacted sculpture. Presented at a gala held at the Nasher Sculpture Center, the award serves as inspiration for year-round events and programs, both local and international, for people of all ages. Chosen by an international jury of esteemed curators, museum directors, scholars, and artists, Michael Rakowitz stands in testament to an artistic practice that has helped expand and enrich our understanding of sculpture.
