Sculptural Insights

A multi-sensory experience for visually impaired visitors. Adults engage with art through hands-on activities, tactile tools, verbal descriptions and group discussions.

Through this program, participants have had the opportunity to touch a large-scale sculpture by Eduardo Chillida with staff supervision, handle 3D-printed replicas of works by Auguste Rodin, Julio Gonzales and Raymond Duchamp-Villon, respond to a sound installation by artist Luke Fowler, and create wrapped and woven artworks in response to works by Sheila Hicks.

Programming and resources serving visitors with visual impairments is made possible by the generous support of The Rosewood Foundation.
