Join us for an interactive photography workshop capturing the effects of chance actions on an ever-changing still life.
Artist Kevin Todora creates subversive photographic tableaux that juxtapose the traditional trappings of the still life with found images and unexpected substances, including poured paint, wax, and melted ice cream. Participants in this workshop will work together to create and destroy a tabletop still life, documenting the process through photography.
The Gallery Lab series brings the spirit of experimentation to the Nasher galleries. Join us for informal conversations, interactive presentations, performances, demonstrations and unexpected viewpoints on art with artists and voices from other disciplines. Expand your concept of a gallery talk and discover a fresh perspective on what it means to engage with the arts. Expect to be surprised!
