Join the Dallas Arts District’s PRIDE Block Party, presented in partnership with the Nasher Sculpture Center, The Crow Museum of Asian Art, and the Dallas Museum of Art. At the Nasher, enjoy a special PRIDE edition of ‘til Midnight–full schedule listed below.

This year, as the annual event falls on June 19th, PRIDE Block Party recognizes the national and historical importance of Juneteenth, a national holiday marking the news of emancipation reaching Galveston, Texas in 1865. In commemoration of both Juneteenth and PRIDE, the Nasher has produced a dual-sided zine with one side devoted to Dallas-based LGBQT+ artist Narong Tintamusik, with the other devoted to the late artist Melvin Edwards, famous for work that spoke to Black American resistance. The debut zine will be distributed on Juneteenth at the museum, with a free download available starting on June 19.
