Christophe Cherix
The David Rockefeller Director of The Museum of Modern Art
Christophe Cherix assumed the role of The David Rockefeller Director of The Museum of Modern Art in September 2025. He was appointed The Robert Lehman Foundation Chief Curator of Drawings and Prints at MoMA in 2013, following a departmental reorganization that brought together the Department of Prints and Illustrated Books—where he had served as Chief Curator since 2010—and the Department of Drawings. Cherix joined the Museum’s curatorial staff in July 2007 after serving as curator of the Cabinet des Estampes at the Musée d’art et d’histoire in Geneva, Switzerland. His expertise lies in modern and contemporary art, with a particular focus on the art of the 1960s and 1970s. Born in Switzerland, Cherix holds a license ès lettres from the University of Geneva.
Laurent Le Bon
President of the Centre national d’art et de culture-Georges Pompidou
Laurent Le Bon is a French Conservateur général du patrimoine. After being in charge of public art commissions for the Ministry of Culture, he was Curator at the Musée national d’Art Moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou from 2000 to 2010. He curated around fifty exhibitions including: “Dada” at the Centre Pompidou in 2005, “Jeff Koons Versailles” at the Château de Versailles in 2008, “Jardins” at the Grand Palais’s Galeries nationales and “Dioramas” at the Palais de Tokyo both in 2017, “Picasso. Blue and rose” at the Musée d’Orsay in 2018.
From 2010 to 2014, he was Director of the Centre Pompidou-Metz where he organized the exhibitions “Chefs-d’œuvre ?” and “1917”. From 2014 to 2021, he was President of the Musée national Picasso-Paris. In July 2021, he was appointed the President of the Centre national d’art et de culture-Georges Pompidou.
Courtney J. Martin
Executive Director of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, New York
Courtney J. Martin became the Executive Director of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation in 2024. Previously she was the Paul Mellon Director of the Yale Center for British Art. An art historian, curator, and professor, Martin began working with the New York–based Dia Art Foundation in 2015 and was appointed Deputy Director and Chief Curator in 2017. She previously taught at Brown University and worked at the Ford Foundation. She earned a Ph.D in art history from Yale University.
Jessica Morgan
Director of the Dia Art Foundation, New York
Jessica Morgan joined Dia Art Foundation as Director in January 2015 and was named Nathalie de Gunzburg Director in October 2017. At Dia, Morgan is responsible for strengthening and activating all parts of Dia’s multivalent program, including its pioneering Land art projects, site-specific commissions, and collections and programming across its constellation of sites. Since assuming directorship, Morgan has led a series of initiatives reaffirming and reinvigorating the nonprofit’s founding vision and principles. Since 2018, Morgan has led a comprehensive, multi-year project to upgrade and revitalize Dia’s programmatic spaces.
Prior to assuming her position at Dia, Morgan was The Daskalopoulos Curator, International Art, at Tate Modern in London from 2010 to 2014, and was Curator at Tate from 2002 to 2010. In addition to her work on exhibitions, Morgan played a key role in the growth of Tate’s collection—driving the development of the museum’s holdings of mid-century and emerging art from North America, the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Morgan was previously Chief Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, and a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
Morgan curated the 2020-22 Verbier Art Summits and served as the artistic director of the 10th Gwangju Biennale in 2014. Morgan is on numerous international advisory boards, including the Sounding Board for Haus der Kunst, Munich, Germany; the Advisory Committee for the Collection, MACBA, Barcelona, Spain; and the Advisory Board for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Mumbai, India.
Monica Narula
Artist, Curator, and Co-Founder of Raqs Media Collective
Monica Narula (IN) is an artist and curator based between Zurich and New Delhi. She holds a BA in English Literature, and her postgraduate training is in cinematography and filmmaking, leading to a deep interest in the fantasy of the image. Alongside Jeebesh Bagchi and Shuddhabrata Sengupta, Narula is co-founder and member of the Raqs Media Collective. Found in 1992, the word “raqs” in several languages denotes an intensification of awareness and presence attained by whirling, turning, being in a state of revolution. Raqs take this sense to mean ‘kinetic contemplation’ and a restless and energetic entanglement with the world, and with time. Raqs practices across several media; making installation, sculpture, video, performance, text, lexica, and curation.
