Tours

The Nasher Sculpture Center is pleased to offer inspiring and engaging museum tours for student and adult groups.

Student Tours

Teachers are invited to reserve free Self-Guided Visits or Docent-Guided Tours for student groups of 10 or more.

Docent-Guided Tours

  • Available Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am and 11 am.
  • Maximum group size is 60 (including chaperones).
  • Must be booked at least three weeks in advance.
  • Free admission with advance reservation.
  • Tours are approximately one hour in length.

Self-Guided Visits

  • Available Tuesday through Friday during normal museum hours.
  • Maximum group size is 60 (including chaperones).
  • Self-Guided Visits may include the audio tour for students in grades 8 and above, upon prior request (audio tours not guaranteed).
  • Must be booked at least three weeks in advance.
  • Free admission with advance reservation.

Group Tours

Adult groups can enjoy a special group rate by booking in advance. You may choose to experience the Nasher Galleries and Garden at your own pace, or request a Docent-Guided Tour.

Docent-Guided Tours

  • Available for groups with 10-20 guests.
  • Additional docents are recommended for groups of 20 or more at a cost of $50 per docent. Docents are subject to availability.
  • Tours must be scheduled three weeks in advance.
  • The docent will greet and accompany you on your tour.
  • Lunch arrangements can be made to accommodate your group.

Self-Guided Visits

  • Available for groups with up to 60 guests.
  • Must be scheduled two weeks in advance.
  • Audio tours of the permanent collection are included when available.
  • Lunch arrangements can be made to accommodate your group.

Saturday Drop-In Tours

Docent-Guided Tours are conducted every Saturday except the first Saturday of the month. Family tours are offered during our Target First Saturday series. Exact times can be found on that day’s schedule.

We offer three Family Tours on Target First Saturdays at 10:15 am, 11:15 am and 12:15 pm.

Free with admission. No reservations required.
