Both reading and art can take your imagination on wonderful journeys. Each summer, the Nasher invites children who live or attend school in Dallas to create a work of art on a bookmark.

In collaboration with the SMART Summer with Mayor Johnson program and the Dallas Public Library, the Make Your Mark contest offers participants the chance to design a bookmark inspired by their favorite experiences at the Nasher Sculpture Center.

The contest is open to children in grades 2 – 12 who live within Dallas city limits or who attend a Dallas ISD school. Entries are accepted each summer, May - August.
