An immersive ONLINE summer program for educators presented by: The Warehouse, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and Kimbell Art Museum.
Morning Session: 10 - 11 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 2 - 3 p.m.
Note: This program will now be offered as an online learning experience, but application will still be required.
Participating middle and high school teachers in all disciplines are invited to:
- Participate in online group discussions and creative activities designed to deepen understanding of contemporary and modern art and architecture
- Develop strategies to teach, interpret, and use works of art in both online and classroom settings
- Connect with thematic explorations of collections, resources, and staff from each museum
- Exchange ideas with other classroom teachers
How Will This Work?
The program will consists of 2 daily virtual sessions (morning session 10 - 11 a.m. and afternoon session 2 - 3 p.m.) that will include virtual presentations by museum staff, related at-home creative exercises with basic materials, and group discussions.Morning and afternoon session build on each other and require some on-your-own activity in the break between sessions. Morning and afternoon sessions do not repeat content. Participants will receive 4 hours of CPE credits per day, 20 over five days.

Tuition
The program is free. Participants are invited to “pay what you can” with recommended amounts that are divisible by five: $50, $100, etc.
