Investigate how artists reflect on and interpret the past in this collaborative workshop. Begin your day at the Nasher Sculpture Center to explore Hugh Hayden’s reflections on his childhood in Dallas and Samara Golden’s installation of intersecting mirrors — a place where memories, emotions, and possibilities converge. After lunch, discover how contemporary artistic production reflected on the past in the exhibitions The Legacy of Vesuvius: Bourbon Discoveries on the Bay of Naples and Unearthing the Legacy of Islamic Spain at the Meadows Museum.
Boxed lunches will be provided. FREE with advance registration. Attendees will be eligible for prizes.
