Bring your class to the Nasher for a rich experience with the methods and materials used by modern and contemporary sculptors. Studio workshops may be booked for classes of no more than 30 students in grades 7-12 and can be tailored to your curriculum. Workshop content includes in-gallery discussions as well as hands-on projects. To schedule a workshop, contact Colleen Borsh at 214.242.5170 or CBorsh@NasherSculptureCenter.orgClick here for a registration form.

An exploration of recent Dallas architecture for students who have completed grades 9 –12

Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2, 2013
9 am – 3 pm, daily
 
Early Registration $200 per student if received by April 30, After April 30, registration is $250 per student. Lunches and Supplies Included.
 
Registrations will be accepted from March 18 – June 28, 2013 on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please complete and sign the registration form and return to Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201

Nasher Summer Institute for Teens (back to top)

The Nasher Summer Institute for Teens is a week-long program that exposes students to many aspects of museums and the art world.

The Nasher Summer Institute for Teens will be held Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21, 2013 from 10am-4pm.

Nasher Kids Camp (back to top)
Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28
Open to students who have completed 1st thru 5th grade in 2013.
9 am – 12 noon, daily

This summer, the Nasher is excited to offer one week of camp for elementary-age children! Campers will discover the history behind sculptures in the Nasher collection and the methods and materials used by artists through stories, games and hands-on art projects.

Members $125. Non-Members $150 Space is limited to 25 campers.

Museum Forum for Teachers: Modern and Contemporary Art  (back to top)

Monday–Friday, July 22–26, 2013
10am–4 pm

A collaborative summer program for educators features daylong sessions at The Rachofsky Collection, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, Kimbell Art Museum, and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. While deepening their understanding of contemporary and modern art and architecture, participating middle and high school teachers will develop interpretive and instructional strategies for exploring artworks in the classroom and museum galleries.
 
$250 tuition fee includes materials and daily lunches
10% discount is offered to educators who apply by March 29, 2013
