Make Your Mark Contest

Both reading and art can take your imagination on wonderful journeys. This summer, the Nasher invites children who live or go to school in Dallas to create a work of art on a bookmark.

In collaboration with the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club, presented by the Dallas Public Library, the Make Your Mark contest offers participants the chance to design a bookmark inspired by their favorite experiences at the Nasher Sculpture Center.

The contest is open to children in grades 2 – 12 who live within Dallas city limits or who attend a Dallas ISD school. Deadline for entry is August 1, 2015.

One winner per each grade category (2^nd – 4^th, 5^th – 7^th, 8^th – 12^th) will receive a Nasher Sculpture Center gift bag plus a $100 NorthPark Gold Coin, and one Grand Prize winner will receive a $250 NorthPark Gold Coin and will have their design printed on a Nasher bookmark to be given out at the September Target First Saturday.
