Resource for teachers bringing K-6 students to the Nasher for self-guided visits.  This guide includes information about the history and construction of the Nasher Sculpture Center as well as facts and discussion points for selected artworks.

Ideas and activities in this guide are designed to merge creative and critical aspects of art and writing using works in the Nasher collection.  Most of the exercises will work best when students visit the galleries, although some may be adapted for classroom use.  This guide is intended for students in grades 6-12, but some activities may be appropriate or adaptable for students in other grade levels.

Created to coincide with the exhibition Matisse: Painter as Sculptor (2007), this guide includes exhibition themes, gallery activities, and classroom art projects.
