The series, sponsored by Briggs Freeman with media support from Dallas Child, will take place from 11 am to 5 pm on March 23 (Easter Sunday), May 11 (Mother’s Day), and June 15 (Father’s Day).

Families are invited to join us for the debut event on Easter Sunday which will feature a free concert by the Arts District Chorale, a not-so-typical Easter “Art” Hunt for children, family photographs in the Garden with James French Photography, and a gourmet brunch at Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck. Children will enjoy a meander through the Garden in search of modern masterpieces. This unique “Art” Hunt playfully teaches children about sculpture by taking them on a scavenger hunt adventure, “off the beaten path” around the Garden in between sculptures and alongside water fountains. About the Arts District Chorale:
Founded in 1989, the Arts District Chorale is a premier, Dallas-based vocal ensemble of 40 voices. We share the joy and beauty of choral music with the community by promoting choral excellence through artistic performance in a variety of downtown venues — particularly those within the Dallas Arts District. The Arts District Chorale is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization. The Chorale’s broad-based repertoire, level of musical excellence and desire to collaborate with Dallas-area arts and nonprofit organizations allow us to bring music to unlikely audiences in magnificent, sometimes unexpected and always interesting places. From the majesty of Poulenc’s Gloria on the stage of the Meyerson Symphony Center to the sass of Cole Porter in the intimate setting of the Crow Collection of Asian Art, the Chorale’s mission is to provide a memorable experience for everyone. The Chorale encompasses a diverse group of amateur and professional musicians from all walks of life — from marketing directors, software designers and CPAs, to attorneys, engineers, artists and writers. Our common bond is a passion for the choral art as an essential ingredient of life, and a willingness to share it with the community at the highest level of performance.

About the Nasher Sculpture Center:
Open since October 2003, the Nasher Sculpture Center is dedicated to the display and study of modern and contemporary sculpture. The Center is located on a 2.4 acre site adjacent to the Dallas Museum of Art in the heart of the Dallas Arts District. Renzo Piano, a world-renowned architect and winner of the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 1998, is the architect of the Center’s 55,000 square foot building. Piano worked in collaboration with landscape architect Peter Walker on the design of the two-acre sculpture garden.

The Nasher Sculpture Center was the longtime dream of the late Raymond and Patsy Nasher, who together formed one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculpture in the world. The Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection includes masterpieces by Calder, de Kooning, di Suvero, Giacometti, Hepworth, Kelly, Matisse, Miró, Moore, Picasso, Rodin, and Serra, among others, and continues to grow and evolve.

The Nasher Sculpture Center presents rotating exhibitions of works from the Nasher Collection as well as special exhibitions drawn from other museums and private collections. In addition to indoor gallery space, the Center contains an auditorium, education and research facilities, a café, and a store.

The Nasher Sculpture Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 5 pm and Thursday from 11am to 9 pm. General Admission to the Center is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for members and children 12 and under. For more information, visit www.NasherSculptureCenter.org
